Lady Blue Devils avenge loss to Claysburg

CLAYSBURG – Emily Nagle smacked a two-run inside-the-park homer in the fifth inning to help Bellwood-Antis avenge its only loss of the season in a 5-2 win over Claysburg-Kimmel in high school softball Thursday.

Taylor Payne earned the victory for the Lady Devils, now 8-1, and Laycee Clark delivered an RBI triple. Mercedeze LeMaster collected two hits for Claysburg, and Madison Ickes drove in two runs.

Haley Rhule and Caitlin England also had two hits each for the Lady Pirates.
