Altoona gymnasts win again

ST. MARYS – The Altoona gymnastics team improved its record to 4-0 Tuesday night, thanks to a 128.425-123.95 win at St. Marys in high school action.

The Lady Lions’ balanced attack was led by Abby Wagner, who won the all-around event (32.725) as well as the beam with an 8.575. Josie Brandt took first in the bars with an 8.45.

Maroon prevails

JOHNSTOWN – Elijah Gage scored a game-high 16 points in Altoona Maroon’s 32-24 win over Johnstown in junior high boys basketball action.
