LEADING OFF: The Curve were off Monday and begin a three-game series at New Hampshire tonight at 7:05. It was Altoona’s final off day of the regular season.

SAFE AT FIRST: Pitching matchups tonight: Curve RHP Dario Agrazal (3-2, 2.81) vs. Fisher Cats RHP Jordan Romano (10-6, 3.62).

STEALING SECOND: This has the potential to be a preview of the Eastern League Championship Series. The Fisher Cats have the league’s best record at 67-48 and lead Trenton by 31⁄2 games in the Eastern Division. The Curve have a 21⁄2-game lead over Harrisburg for the final playoff spot in the Western Division, and they’re also battling for the top spot as they’ve closed within 21⁄2 games of first-place Akron.

ROUNDING THIRD: The Curve play their next eight games on the road, with three at New Hampshire, three at Portland and two at Binghamton.

HEADING HOME: The Curve return to PNG Field for their final homestand of the regular season Aug. 22-30.
