Curve hosting Zombie Night in July

Peoples Natural Gas Field will become a home for the undead on Thursday, July 10 with the Erie SeaWolves visit Altoona as the Curve are set to pay tribute to the show “The Walking Dead” with Zombie Night.

To properly celebrate the un-dead greatness of the show with the living, the Curve are pleased to welcome in Vincent M. Ward, who portrayed Oscar on “The Walking Dead” during season three.

Ward’s character, who was one of the prisoners who survived the zombie apocalypse and was found in the cafeteria inside the prison by Rick, first appeared in the episode “Seed” and appeared in seven episodes during that season.

To help theme out the evening, the Curve will be wearing special Zombie apocalypse-inspired jerseys that night that will be auctioned off with proceeds benefitting the American Red Cross.

Fans are also encouraged to come dressed up in their best zombie-inspired garb for a free general admission ticket to the game. Fans will also get to take part in a “Walking Dead” storming of the field during a mid-inning break.
