Negley makes history for Central girls in win

MARTINSBURG — Ashley Negley scored twice to reach 100 goals for her career, and Alana Padula scored late with an assist from Avery Black to lift Central over Tyrone, 4-3, on senior night in Mountain League girls soccer action Monday.

The Lady Dragons went into halftime tied, 2-2, before Negley came out after the break and scored unassisted to reach the century mark. Avery Black scored and had two assists for Central (9-7).

Tyrone had goals from Lindsey Parks and Kendal Markley in the first half, and an equalizer from Riley D’Angelo to knot the score at 3-3.
