Reese’s 42 helps PC top Bisons

BEDFORD — Led by Collin Reese’s 42, Penn Cambria edged Bedford, 221-225, at Bedford Elks Thursday afternoon in high school golf action.

Bedford’s Jared Turner was the medalist with a 40.

Tyrone wins meet

HUNTINGDON — Andrew Ferguson shot a 75, and Brent McNeel had a 79 for help Tyrone finish with 322 team points and beat the seven other Mountain League teams.

Chad Frank and Keegan Soltis each shot 79s to help Philipsburg-Osceola finish second, Luke Thompson’s medalist score of 71 helped Huntingdon place third, and Mason Baker led Central to a fourth-place finish with an 83.

EBENSBURG — Zach Ramach took medalist honors with a match-low 39 for Bishop McCort as itdefeated Chestnut Ridge, 222-234, and Bishop Carroll, 222-258, to improve to 10-0 at the Ebensburg Country Club.

Chestnut Ridge defeated Bishop Carroll, led by Colby Miller with a 45. Dino Menie of Bishop Carroll shot a 48.

Williams earns medalist

EVERETT — Brighton Williams claimed medalist honors as Everett cruised past Tussey Mountain and Bellwood-Antis with a score of 379 at Down River Golf Course.

Brook Troutman led the Titans, who finished with 508, while Noah Patton was tops for the Blue Devils, who scored a 529.

BLAIRSVILLE — Tanner Pershing’s 35 was good for medalist honors, Aaron Krug finished close behind with a 39, and Derek Stafford shot a 40 to power Northern Cambria past Homer-Center, 201-228, and Blairsville, 201-271.

Homer-Center’s Chris Ober shot a 41 and Blairsville’s Alex Kirkland shot a 53.
