JoAnn's Slow Cooker Ribs

2 to 2 1/2 pounds spare ribs

1 teaspoon oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

1/2 cup sliced onion

1/2 cup chopped celery with celery leaves

Any barbecue sauce you like

Combine all ingredients and cook in slow cooker on low 6 to 7 hours or high 4 to 5 hours.
