Gene D. "Gramps" Albright, 85, Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg, died Thursday at the home.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Ernest and Blanche (Campbell) Albright. He married Betty E. McTague, and she died Oct. 24, 2013.
Surviving are a daughter, LeeAnn of Northfield, Mich.; a stepdaughter, Irene Racz of Ashville; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Albert; a son, Todd; a daughter, Cynthia; and two stepsons: Carl and Allan Buckrop.
Gene was a graduate of Altoona High School and Penn State University with a degree in accounting. He served in Korea in the U.S. Army from 1950-52 and was awarded a Purple Heart. He had been employed as a Realtor, and he was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Lilly.
Gene enjoyed baseball, table tennis and cards.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
