Tipton-based company New Pig has purchased the former Warnaco distribution facility in Duncansville, according to a release from the company.
New Pig, which produces safety products to prevent spills and leaks of dangerous materials, is "continuing to expand (its) product line," Ben Stapelfeld, the company's chairman of the board, said in the release, and needed the additional facility to accommodate the growth.
"The acquisition of this property provides flexibility and capacity in addition to our current operations in Tipton, PA," Stapelfeld said in the release. "We are proud to add another location in Blair County to meet our future needs."
