Julia B. Jenkins, 74, Claysburg, formerly of Marmora, N.J., passed away Tuesday at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care.
She was born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late James A. and Leona L. (Mehlbaum) Durkin. She married Donald W. Jenkins on Feb. 1, 1964, in Millbourne, and he passed away Feb. 14, 2012.
Surviving are a son, Robert and wife, Christina, of East Freedom; two granddaughters: Hayley and Alyson; and a special friend, Orville Lingenfelter.
Julia was a 1958 graduate of a Catholic school in Philadelphia. She was a member of the Guilders Club of America and enjoyed needlepoint, collecting Santa Clauses and antiques, and spending time with her granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held in Marmora, N.J., at the convenience of the family.
