Linda K. Croft, 76, Altoona, passed away Friday at Altoona Center for Nursing Care after a brief illness.
She was born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Howard M. and Mary Louise (John) Leamer. She married Bernard D. Croft on April 17, 1977, at Bethany Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2013.
Surviving are two daughters: Barbara Leskie (Ron) of Altoona and Samantha Leskie-Jones (Robert) of Moraga, Calif.; a son, David Timothy Leamer (Terri) of Elverson; a sister, Doris Holland of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Jim Leamer Sr. of Cincinnati, Ohio; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Leamer; and two sisters: Louise Carrasqualo and Dottie Mae Ridge.
Linda was a 1955 graduate of Pennsbury High School and attended UNLV and UNR. She was formerly employed as a private duty nurse.
Linda was a member of Simpson-Temple United Parish and enjoyed reading, shopping and music. She loved interesting people and being a grandma.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, the Rev. Chris Thomas officiating. Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
