Samuel A. "Butch" Lingenfelter, 62, Williamsburg, died unexpectedly Wednesday at his residence.
He was born in Williamsburg, son of the late Samuel C. and Irma (Long) Lingenfelter.
Surviving are a daughter, Cheyenne D. Luck in Delaware; and two sisters: Nancy Mallory of Altoona and Sally Brantner and husband, Don, of Williamsburg.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha-Lee C. Luck; and a brother, Don.
Butch worked for Smith Masonry as a laborer, and he enjoyed restoring old cars and roaming the fields.
At Butch's request, there will be no public viewing. Friends will be received from 4 until the 6 p.m. memorial service Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, Pastor Joe Kelly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to his daughter.
