An Altoona man is in jail on charges he posted nude pictures of an underage girl on Facebook.
Ti Alexander Williams, 21, of 1012 16th Ave. faces felony child pornography-related charges as well as misdemeanor counts of obscene materials and invasion of privacy over two pictures of a teenage girl Williams allegedly posted to his Facebook page, photos the girl said she took herself when she was 16 but hadn't given to anyone, according to Altoona police.
The pictures were on her phone, and the girl, now 17, told police she talked to Williams in person in June at her relative's house on Broad Avenue. He said he wanted them to get back together romantically, as a couple.
She told him she didn't want to get back together. Williams allegedly took the naked pictures from her phone when she had him hold her phone while she helped her relative with something, police said.
Police said Williams told the girl he took some pictures from her phone, and they argued, with Williams again asking the girl to take him back. She again refused, and Williams told her she would be sorry, police said.
"You'll see everything on Facebook, and you will regret this," Williams allegedly told the girl, according to the affidavit of probable cause filed in the case.
The girl wasn't the only person who saw the nude pictures on Facebook, police said. A Blair County probation officer saw the pictures on William's Facebook page, which is under the name "Ti SoLoudd Williyammz,"on June 27 and called Altoona police.
The posts with the photos included the girl's name, police said, and screen shots were taken to preserve the evidence in case Williams took the photos off his page.
Williams was arraigned Thursday night by Magisterial District Judge Jeffrey Auker and lodged in Blair County Prison in lieu of $75,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing at Central Court is slated for Wednesday.
Williams was placed on probation last year after serving time in jail stemming from pleading guilty to various charges in three cases.
