Angela M. Ayle, 84, Roaring Spring, formerly of Gallitzin, died Monday at her home.
She was born in Gallitzin, daughter of the late John and Mary (Jaskulski) Stahulak.
Surviving are three children: Nancy (Barry) Huey of Sykesville, Md., and John (Jeannie Mulhern) and Richard (Irene Thompson), both of Gallitzin; a stepson, Earl in Texas; eight grandchildren: Barry Jr. (June) Huey, Shawn (Amy) Huey, Melissa (Dave) Malone, Alycia (Mike) Billy, Leslie (Fred) Sylvester, Allison Raymond, Karen Raymond and Jessica Campbell; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was the last member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by her first husband, Carmen "Punk" Raymond, on June 13, 1997; her second husband, Charles Ayle Jr., on Oct. 16, 1993; two sisters: Helen Majchrowicz and Nellie; and a brother, John.
Angela had worked as a seamstress at Publix Shirt Factory, Gallitzin. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Roaring Spring, and she enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and gambling.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin, where a vigil service will be held Thursday afternoon. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Roaring Spring, the Rev. Leo Lynch as celebrant. Committal will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Altoona.
