LILLY - Brent Davison's bases-loaded single drove in the tying and game-winning runs as Conrad Chiropractic/Lilly American Legion completed a 7-6 comeback victory over Mountain View Archery in Altoona Greater City Baseball?League action Thursday.
Brent Matish and Landon Sinclair each had two hits and an RBI for Lilly as it improved to 22-2. Lilly trailed 4-0 after Mountain View's half of the second inning.

n Saint Francis offensive lineman Thurston Kino was named an FCS First Team All-American by USA Football Network. Linebacker Bishop Neal and defensive back Lorenzo Jerome were second-team selections.
n Saint Francis track and field freshman Emma O'Hara competed in the 2014 Junior World Championships for Ireland at the University of Oregon. O'Hara advanced to the hammer throw finals after throwing a mark of 57.17 meters in the Group A qualification stage. She placed 11th in the finals with a mark of 56.28 meters.
n Penn State men's hockey coach Guy Gadowsky will be inducted into the University of Alaska Nanook Hall of Fame as part of its four-member Class of 2014, it was announced. The Nittany Lion bench boss, who started his collegiate coaching career in Fairbanks, and his fellow honorees will formally join the athletic department's Hall of Fame during an induction ceremony at the Wedgewood Resort in Fairbanks, Alaska, Saturday, Sept. 27. "The University of Alaska provided an extremely special time in my family's life,'' he said.
