Patrick V. Costlow, 50, Hollidaysburg, died unexpectedly Tuesday at his residence.
He was born in Washington, D.C., son of Harry and Sarah "Sallie" (Mearkle) Costlow, with whom he resided.
Surviving are his parents; two children: Vincent Patrick and Jessica Lynn Costlow and their mother, Dorothy Daniels, all of Laurel, Md.; two sisters: Kathleen Costlow and Mary Elizabeth Urbany (Edward), both of Crofton, Md.; two brothers: Kevin of St. Augustine, Fla., and Michael of Huntingdon Beach, Calif.; aunts: Virginia Martini and Eileen Edwards; and 15 nieces and nephews.
Patrick had been employed by Lawruk Builders Inc. in Altoona as a laborer for the past six years. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed collecting coins and classic rock albums.
Friends will be received from noon to 1:45 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in Stevens Memorial Chapel by Father J.D. Zatalava. Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
