Rose A. Umbleby, 62, Hollidaysburg, died Monday at her home.
She was born in Atlantic City, N.J., daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Burns) Bauder. She married John T. Umbleby on Sept. 26, 1970, in Hollidaysburg.
Surviving are her husband, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage; a daughter, Beth (Neil) of Altoona; two sons: Michael (Denice) in Illinois and Matthew of Hollidaysburg; five grandchildren; four sisters: Nancy, Dottsie, Carolyne and Debbie; and a brother, David.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William.
Rose was a 1970 graduate of Altoona Area High School and received her licensed practical nursing degree from the Altoona Area Vo-Tech School. She had been employed as a senior trainer at Health Net. She enjoyed reading and watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Altoona Trackers ice hockey team.
Friends will be received from 5 until the 7 p.m. funeral service Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, Pastor Kathy Colebank officiating. Committal will be at New St. Mary Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
