DUNCANSVILLE - The Duncansville Community Days celebration, which opened Thursday night at Memorial Park, will continue through Saturday when it caps off with a fireworks show.
As part of this year's "Salute to Troops" theme, patrons are asked to bring personal care items for a collection to homeless veterans.
"We wanted to give back a little more this year, so we came up with that theme and decided to ask for the donations," said Councilwoman Jeanette Mills, one of the coordinators for this year's event.
