Kathryn H. Ott, 77, Chambersburg, passed away Sunday at Menno Haven.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Beery) Holsinger.
Surviving are a nephew, Steve Holsinger and wife, Jenny, of Sterling, Va.; a niece, Cheri Yandell and husband, John, of Orlando, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Wilda Holsinger of Bridgewater, Va.; and six great-nieces and great-nephews: Joshua, Emily, Amanda, Danielle, Luke and Lilly.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William P. Holsinger.
Kathryn retired from Bethlehem Steel, where she had worked as a computer programmer. She had graduated from Juniata College in 1959 with a degree in music, and in addition to being an organist for local churches, she was a piano accompanist for the Menno Larks at Menno Village. She was an accomplished musician, travel enthusiast, avid quilter, solitaire card game master, book club member, good friend and special aunt.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at the Menno Haven Chapel.
