The house of Bishop Mark L. Bartchak is now officially for sale.
The house at Logan Boulevard and Larch Street has been listed by Coldwell Banker Town & Country Real Estate of Altoona at a price of $995,000.
The Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown announced in June that it would sell the bishop's residence in Frankstown Township, with some of the funds going to benefit victims of sexual abuse cases.

The residence of Bishop Mark L. Bartchak at Logan Boulevard and Larch Street is officially on the market, with Coldwell Banker Town & Country Real Estate of Altoona listing it at $995,000.
Bartchak has moved into the rectory of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona.
Sharon Muldoon was selected as the property's marketing agent.
"She was approached by us," Tony DeGol, diocese secretary for communications, said Monday. "She was chosen because we feel she has the best experience at selling and dealing with properties of this nature. We feel she has the experience to market a property of this type."
Muldoon considers the opportunity to be special.
"I feel honored," she said. "It is a responsibility and privilege to market a property like that. It is very unique in the Blair County market. We do not come across these kind of properties that often.
"I think it is priced competitively and won't stay on the market that long, but there is no guarantee."
For-sale signs will not be placed in the yard, and an open house is not planned, Muldoon said.
It is believed the house was built around 1915, DeGol said.
"We are marketing it as a six-bedroom house with 7 baths. It sits on more than three acres of ground with square footage of 8,271," DeGol said.
The diocese bought the house from a religious order around 1960 when Howard Carroll was bishop, but he died shortly after the purchase, DeGol said.
Bishop J. Carroll McCormick lived there for about six years, Bishop James Hogan for 20 years, Bishop Joseph Adamec for 24 years and Bishop Bartchak since the spring of 2011.
"It is a beautiful property," DeGol said. "It has wonderful possibilities for someone with a good vision to do something. It would be good for a large family to take advantage of."
Photos and additional information about the house can be found at centralpahomefinder.com. The MLS number is 39694.
