William "Scott" Gallaher III, 57, Coalport, died Wednesday.
He was born in Spangler, son of Marie (Ricketts) Gallaher and the late William Scott Gallaher II. He married Shirley Dick on Sept. 8, 1979, in Coalport.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Irvin "Sonny" Feaster, of La Jose RD; his wife; a son, Jeffrey (Lyncola Sinclair) of Coalport; two grandchildren: Cole Maverick and Arabella Marie; a stepbrother, Doug (Kathy Demko) Feaster of La Jose RD; a stepsister, Debbie Feaster of Glen Hope; his mother-in-law, Barbara Dick of Coalport; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Margaret Massini (Raymond) of Altoona, Larry "Diddy" (Brenda) Dick and Joe (Mary Kay) Dick, both of Coalport, and Theresa Brodie (Mark) of North Versailles; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1977.
Scott owned and operated S&S Trucking Inc., Coalport. He enjoyed his grandchildren, football, NASCAR, late-model dirt track racing and his Harley.
Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2014, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at St. Basil Catholic Church, Coalport, the Rev. Zab Amar as celebrant. Committal will be in the church cemetery.
