Ralph Sebastian Rispoli, 87, of Yellow Springs, Catharine Township, rural Williamsburg, passed away early Sunday morning at his residence.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Frank and Mary (Macharola) Rispoli. He married Josephine R. Camaroto on April 7, 1951, in Williamsburg. She passed away on June 9, 2012.
He is survived by five daughters: Rose Lynn (Richard) and Mary Bilger (Bill), all of rural Williamsburg, Pat Weimert (Mark) of Martinsburg, Gina Kagarise (Todd) of Vero Beach, Fla., and Penny Rispoli (Matt) of Cherrytown, rural Saxton; five sons: Ralph F. (Deb), Richard, Frank, Anthony (Chris) and Jeff, all of rural Williamsburg; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Jones of Altoona.
Mr. Rispoli was a 1944 graduate of Altoona High School.
He was a longtime dairy and produce farmer at his family's farm near Yellow Springs.
Ralph was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Williamsburg.
He was an Army veteran of World War II from 1945 to 1946, serving as a military policeman with Headquarters Company, 2nd Major Port, attaining the rank of private first class.
Ralph was a life member of Bonner-Sollenberger American Legion Post 456, Williamsburg, and Williamsburg VFW Memorial Post 6086, and a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at John C. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 8:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Williamsburg, with Father Aron M. Maghsoudi officiating. A committal service with military honors accorded by Blair County Veterans Honor Guard will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
