Kenton A. Paul, 66, Hollidaysburg, died Tuesday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Dean N. and Georgianna P. (Kutch) Paul. He married Phyllis K. Long on July 6, 1990, in Altoona.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Andrea K. of Hollidaysburg; a son, Scott D. of Hollidaysburg; two stepdaughters: Holly M. (Todd) Glunt and Elizabeth (Robert) Lewis, both of Roaring Spring; and eight grandchildren: Olivia Day, Kyla and Christian Paul, Brianna Bailey, Abigail and Michael Glunt and Zane and Addison Lewis.
Kenton was a 1965 graduate of Altoona High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1965-68 in Vietnam and then served as a Pennsylvania State Police officer, retiring in 1998 after 28 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, music and playing the drums.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
