Daniel J. Tutko, 30, Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Gallitzin, died Thursday in Cleveland.
He was born in Altoona, son of Michael Tutko and Linda (Buck) Schultz.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Scott Schultz, of Lilly; his father of Gallitzin; a sister, Lisa of Pittsburgh; his twin brother, Michael and wife, Megan, of Roaming Shores, Ohio, and their daughter, Avery; and two stepbrothers: Brett Schultz and wife, Missy, of Marysville and their son, Brock, and Ryan Schultz and wife, Heidi, of Dillsburg and their children, Amelia, Reagan and Byron.
Dan is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Geraldine Buck of Gallitzin; his soulmate in life, Betsy Newlon of Akron, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Buck; and his paternal grandparents, Steve and Margaret (Robatin) Tutko.
Dan was a 2002 graduate of Penn Cambria High School, Cresson. He was a member of the Life Spring Community Church and conducted Bible study for youths in Valley City, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin, followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m., Pastor Rich Morris officiating. Committal will be at St. Patrick Cemetery, Gallitzin, at the convenience of the family.
