Edna E. Rickabaugh, 72, Altoona, passed away Thursday after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Calvin and Ruth (Craig) Butterbaugh.
Surviving are two daughters: Lisa Harmic of Altoona and Tina Rickabaugh-Smith of Duncansville; four sisters: Erma "Rose" Morrow of Bellwood and Shirley Hughes, Beverly Butterbaugh and Bonnie Sprankle, all of Altoona; and a brother, Carl Butterbaugh of Altoona; three grandchildren: Kevin and Kristin Rickabaugh and Scott Harmic; and a great-granddaughter, her pride and joy, Kaidence.
Edna retired from Weis Market as an office manager. She had previously worked for Puritan-Warnaco for 28 years.
Edna enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her great-granddaughter.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Santella Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, by Pastor Jack Wiley. Interment will be held at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
