The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops will sponsor a Fortnight for Freedom from Saturday through July 4. The theme will focus on the freedom to serve the vulnerable.
In observance of the Fortnight, Bishop Mark L. Bartchak of the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown, will preside at a holy hour at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. It will include prayer, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and a homily.
It will focus on prayer for the preservation of religious liberty in America.
