St. John's Reformed Church, 906 Maple Ave., Hollidaysburg, will hold its annual Summer Christian Music Festival from 3:30 to 7 p.m. June 21 on the church grounds.
Local groups providing the music are Scent of Water, Vox Nova and Anthony & Friends.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. The church will set up canopies to provide protection from the sun. In case of rain, the festival will move indoors.
Food, including ox roast sandwiches, hot dogs, ice cream, desserts and drinks, will be available for purchase. In the past, proceeds have helped pay expenses for people traveling to distant hospitals for medical treatment.
A freewill offering also will be received
In addition to the music, Keith Deal, pastor of the Community Worship Center of Tyrone, will give his personal testimony.
A prayer tent also will be available for anyone to request prayer from a member of St. John's congregation.
An Altoona Curve mascot and the Tumblebus will entertain the kids who also are invited to make a craft or get their face painted.
At the end of the day's activities, gift baskets for adults and children will be given away. The holder of a winning ticket must be present to receive his or her gift.
