Keith C. Flegal, 55, Hollidaysburg, died Thursday afternoon at home after an extended illness.
He was born in Philipsburg, son of the late Robert D. Flegal and Judith A. Whitney. He married Tina M. Nead on Oct. 22, 1988.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters: Sarah and Amber, both at home; and five siblings: Cheryl L. Shaw and husband, Gary, of Wolfsburg, Mont., Robert L. Flegal and wife, Jen, of Cumberland, Md., his twin brother, Kenneth D. Flegal and wife, Caroline, of Altoona, Laura Wallace of Greenwood and Daniel B. Flegal of Hollidaysburg.
Keith was a 1977 graduate of Central High School and was currently employed at The Village at Morrisons Cove. He was a member of Reservoir Bible Church.
He enjoyed camping and fishing and he especially loved helping other people, those he cared for at The Village and also his family, friends and neighbors. He was a member of the ASPCA and he loved animals. Friends will be received from 6 until the 7 p.m. memorial service Monday, June 9, 2014, at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring, Pastor Linda Banaszak officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Keith's memory may be given to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society or to the funeral home to assist the family.
