The annual Maifest for the Altoona Almrausch Schuhplattlers (German Dance Group) will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. May 24 at the Unter Uns Club, Van Buren Avenue and 14th Street, Altoona.

While dinner is being served, music featuring the music of The Rhinelanders from Johnstown will be played.
After dinner, the dance group will take the stage and perform some of its old, as well as some new dances.
The dancers will be dancing in and out of the Glockenspiel. Following the dancers, the feature band, the Grammy-nominated Alex Meixner Band, will take the stage, playing from 4 to 8 p.m.
