Alice C. (Nagle) Dolan, 81, Wilmington, Del., passed away peacefully May 7, 2014, after a brief illness, while surrounded by her family.
She was born in Altoona.
Alice will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Paul; five children: Kevin, Brian, Paula (Rob), Alan and Bruce (Debbie); eight grandchildren: Michael (Dana), Paul, Rebecca, Bonnie, Colleen, Luke, Bret and Duncan; a great-granddaughter, Claire; a sister, Louise Miller; two brothers: Joseph (Otomie) and Thomas (Delores); and a brother-in-law, Jack Dolan (Louise).
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle; a daughter-in-law, Shelley; and a brother, Donald.
Alice was a retired registered nurse who enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and loved to sew and do crafts with her grandchildren. She also had fun doing yoga with her girlfriends at Claymore Senior Center. She will be dearly missed by many family members and friends.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at Mealey Funeral Home, Limestone and Milltown Roads, Wilmington, Del. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 1 Fallon Ave., Wilmington, Del. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
