Name: Marcus Lee
High school: Bishop Carroll
College choice: Juniata
Other colleges considered: Washington & Jefferson, Lycoming, St. Francis
Why I picked Juniata: "Coach [Greg] Curley did a good job of recruiting a lot of local talent, so I feel like I will be comfortable playing there. They graduated a lot of their starters, so hopefully, I'll be able to get a lot of playing time. I also want to study engineering, and they have a good engineering program.''
Greatest high school achievement: Winning the District 6-A championship as a team, and individually, scoring my 1,000th point and being named third team all-state.
Coach Cosie Aliquo's quote: "He has a really good work ethic. Going to Juniata, that should help him on and off the court.''
How I got my start playing basketball: "I have a hoop in my driveway, and my grandfather and I would go out and shoot baskets. I started playing Parochial League basketball in the fifth grade.''
Favorite college growing up: West Virginia University.
Other interests: Track and field, hanging out with friends, playing video games, and drawing.
What getting to play in college means to me: "The main reason is just because I like the game so much, and it's a way for me get a college education at a lower price. I feel like playing basketball in school helps with my time-management skills, too.''
Probable college major: Engineering/physics.
Parents: Mother Kara Bills and grandparents Terry and Suzanne Bills.
