Beverly J. (Stoltz) Ambrisco, 69, Ebensburg, passed away Wednesday at home.
She was born in Patton, daughter of the late Leo F. and Matilda M. (Nagle) Stoltz.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Ambrisco, to whom she was married 44 years; and two children: Shawn Philip of Weeki Wachee, Fla., and Ronda Lynn (J. Scott) Suarez of Clearwater, Fla. Bev was a loving "Baumba" to her only granddaughter, Madison Ann Suarez.
She is also survived by eight siblings: Veronica Blake in California, William E. Stoltz of Chest Springs, Francis X. Stoltz of Akron, Ohio, Janet McCauley of Sterling Heights, Mich., Donna (John) McCauley of Lancaster, John Allen (Brenda) Stoltz of Glen Burnie, Md., Shirley Cox of Johnstown and Norma Jean (Thomas) Grant of Ebensburg; and her caregiver and friend, Joyce Eckenrode.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen; four brothers: Norman, George, Robert and L. Duane Stoltz; two sisters-in-law: Betty (Luzier) Stoltz and Roberta (Link) Stoltz; and a brother-in-law, Joe McCauley.
Bev was a member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church. She had served as a substitute teacher at the former St. Monica's Parochial School and volunteered as a CCD teacher.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Beverly's memory may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
