Mildred E. Warfel, 86, of 2620 E. Valley Road, Loganton, passed away Friday at Susque-View Home Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lock Haven.
She was born in Alexandria, daughter of the late Adam L. and Margretta M. (Isenberg) Hoffman. She was married to the late Frank L. Warfel.
Surviving are two sons: Mark (Frances) of Loganton and James (Robin Shepett) of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and a granddaughter, Emilee Illig of Loganton.
Mildred was a 1945 graduate of Huntingdon High School. After graduation, she was employed at the former A&P Grocery Store in Huntingdon as a cashier and later at the former Phillips Fly and Tackle. She was best known as a seamstress for the Altoona Bridal Shop during the 1970s.
Mildred attended the Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, Eastville, and she enjoyed bird-watching.
A memorial service will be held at Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren at a time to be announced. A private graveside service will be held in Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon.
