The 12th annual Re/Max Results Realty Bowl-a-thon set a new high for money raised to support Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger.
The event raised $12,065 and was held March 9 at the Pleasant Valley Recreation Center, Altoona.
New for this year was an after party, which included local bands Ground Crew and Shallow Nine.

Former Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Juqua Parker also participated in the event and took part in a short meet-and-greet event during the after party.
Admission to the after party was a $5 donation to Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger.
The funds raised by this event will help to provide pediatric equipment, programs and services at Janet Weis Children's Hospital and throughout Geisinger Health System.
