Connie C. McGeary, 63, Linden, formerly of Altoona, passed away Thursday at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Bellwood, daughter of the late Melvin J. and Lillian (Gault) McGeary. She was married to the late Donald Bradley.
Surviving are two daughters: Anita Richards of Altoona and Beth Ann Menegay of Indianapolis, Ind.; a son, John Myers of Altoona; nine grandchildren: Edward Baker III, Eric, Darleena, Justin, Amanda, Isaiah and Dylan Myers and Tamantha and Michael Grove; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters: Minnie Lunger in South Carolina, Lavina Walters and Betty Bridges, both in Florida, and Judith Potts of Altoona; two brothers: Wayne and Daniel McGeary, both of Altoona; and a special friend, Jerry Baney.
Connie attended Abundant Life Assembly of God and was a social member of the Newburg Fire Company. She enjoyed karaoke, bingo, crocheting, ceramics and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520 Fourth St., Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2014, at Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona, by Pastor George Sanders. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
