Mary Lou (Cole) Scott, 81, Hollidaysburg, died Tuesday at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, after an extended illness.
She was born in Ashville, daughter of the late Earl and Ethel (Fleck) Cole. She married Charles Scott on Dec. 31, 1951, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Debra Ghaner of Hollidaysburg; a granddaughter, Melissa McDowall; three great-grandchildren: Chloe, Ian and Lacey; a sister, Kathleen Stock of Hollidaysburg; and a brother, Robert Cole of Hollidaysburg.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: James and William Cole; and a grandson, Matthew Ghaner.
Mary Lou was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, and she enjoyed her family.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, by Pastor Rick Stock. Entombment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
