Loretta J. Nunamaker, 84, of William Penn Road, Imler, died Wednesday evening at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg.
She was born in West St. Clair Township, daughter of the late Charles F. and Rosie (Felix) Custer. She married Lester R. Nunamaker on Jan. 18, 1958, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1979.
Surviving are three children: Robert C. and wife, Laurie (Kniseley), of Roaring Spring, Bruce E. and wife, Kelly (Showalter), of Imler and Deborah J. Hood and companion, Harry Spade, of Irvona; four grandsons: Jason, Josh, Ben and Lucas; three great-grandchildren: Katie Ann, Sawyer and Ryder, and another on the way; three siblings: Grace Callihan of Martinsburg, Ralph Custer of Kittanning and Douglas Custer of Schellsburg; and her close friend, Betty Perry of Hollidaysburg.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Dale; a brother, Ronald Custer; and a sister, Shelva Cessna.
Loretta was affiliated with the Claysburg Church of God and the Trinity Reformed Church in Osterburg. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. While she was at the Lutheran Home, she was an avid bingo player.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. today, March 15, 2014, at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2014, Pastor Charles Miller officiating. Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.
