Eugene W. "Pint" Lynch, 85, Blairsville, formerly of Williamsburg, died Monday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late James E. and Isabelle M. (Strasser) Lynch. He married Janet A. Empfield on Sept. 2, 1952.
Surviving are his wife and two children: Beth (Randy) Fabbri of Altoona and Brian (Debra) of Blairsville.
He was the last member of his immediate family, having been preceded in death by a sister, Martha Kifer.
Eugene was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He had worked as a technician at the Homer City Generating Station and retired in 1990. He enjoyed working in his yard, fishing and restoring antique cars.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or visitation. Committal will be held at the convenience of the family at Presbyterian Cemetery, Williamsburg.
The family suggests that donations be made to Independent Baptist Church, 123 Bridge St., Blairsville, PA 15717, where Eugene attended.
