Marlene L. Ermin, 77, Altoona, died Sunday morning at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Herman and Thelma (Ehret) Brede.
Surviving are two daughters: Cheryl Lynn Myers of Bellwood and Cynthia Lou Ann Patterson and husband, Gairth, of Altoona; a son, Donald Earl Irvin Jr. and wife, Frances, of Altoona; a son-in-law, Thomas Yingling of Ashville; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald E. Irvin; a daughter, Charlene Louise Yingling; a sister, Janice Brede; and two great-grandchildren: Lauren Herist and Mason Alexander Fornari.
Marlene was a 1955 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a nurse aide for Moran Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting and bingo.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona, Pastor John Pine officiating. Committal will be at Grandview Cemetery.
