Mary E. Faust, 68, Altoona, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday in Clermont, Fla.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Horton) Shultz. She married Richard A. Faust on April 23, 1966, at Second Avenue United Methodist Church, Altoona.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters: Karen Cooper and husband, Garrett, of Central Point, Ore., and Dawn Postles and husband, Ben, of Williamsburg; a son, Timothy and wife, Tammy, of New Bloomfield; seven grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Frazier of Roaring Spring; and a brother, Kenneth Shultz and wife, Carol, of Pleasant Gap.
Mary was a 1963 graduate of Altoona High School. She retired from Peoples Natural Gas and had also worked for the Blair County Drug and Alcohol Program. She was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed camping, spending the winter in Florida, and her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Greenwood United Methodist Church, followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m.
