Larelda M. (Otto) Cochran, 90, Altoona, went home to be with her beloved Lord on Saturday.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Harry L. and Anna (Bohner) Otto. She married Lynwood Cochran, who preceded her in death March 6, 1983.
Surviving are four children: Lynn (Jackie) of Altoona, Deborah Wendle (Tim Root) of Newry, Gregory of Altoona and Marjorie Anderson (Brian) of Rochester, N.Y.; six grandchildren: Zachary and Amanda Cochran, Doug and Matthew Butler and Alan and HollyLyn Tychinski; three great-grandchildren: Breanna, Austin and Kernin; a brother, Arthur (Donna) Otto; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by three siblings: Thelma (Cloyd) Stubbs, Grace (William) Young and Harry (Eloise) Otto.
Larelda loved her church and was very faithful to her Bible readings, prayers and witnessing. She always looked forward to family visits and spending time with them. Her favorite pastime was watching Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers games.
A chapel service followed by interment will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery Chapel, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for the purchase of Bibles to Heralds of Hope Inc., P.O. Box 3, Breezewood, PA 15533.
