Mariann R. (Rock) Yeager, 80, Hollidaysburg and Bonita Springs, Fla., died Friday at Presbyterian Village.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Charles I. and Ella V. (Burtnett) Rock. She married Robert E. Yeager on Aug. 18, 1956, in Windber.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Susan Swope and husband, Gregory, of Hollidaysburg; a son, Jeffrey Yeager and wife, Carol, of Hollidaysburg; and grandchildren: Justine Clark and husband, Corey, and Katrina Pike and husband, Alex.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Morris.
Mariann was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg, and Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Naples, Fla.
She was employed as an operating room nurse and was a nursing supervisor.
She was a 1952 graduate of Windber Area High School and a 1955 graduate of Lock Haven School of Nursing.
Mariann enjoyed horses, traveling, dogs, the beach, playing bridge and going to Florida every winter.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014, by Pastor Greg Harbaugh. Entombment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
