Lawrence E. "Larry" Price II, 52, Martinsburg, died Thursday from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born in Roaring Spring, son of Donna L. (Gahagan) Price and the late Larry E. Price.
Surviving are his mother, a resident at The Village at Morrisons Cove; two sisters: Belinda D. Moyer and husband, James, of Roaring Spring and Gina L. Corrigan of Martinsburg; two nieces: Jamie P. Moyer and Jodie L. LeMaster and husband, Kenny; a nephew, Tyler J. Corrigan and wife, Lindsey; and a great-nephew, Hayden James Corrigan.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, James Corrigan.
Larry was a 1979 graduate of Central High School and was currently employed at Amerway Inc., Altoona. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Henrietta Sportsman's Club. He was an avid lifelong Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Pirates fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and walking through the woods, and he loved the outdoors.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014, in the chapel at The Village at Morrisons Cove, followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. by Pastor Linda Banaszak. Interment will be made in Greenlawn Cemetery, Roaring Spring.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lawrence's memory may be given to the Martinsburg Volunteer Fire Company or The Village at Morrisons Cove.
