Margaret A. "Peggy" Gulash, 76, Windber, died peacefully Monday at Windber Hospice.
She was born in Windber, daughter of the late Earl and Mary (Yoder) Hill. She was married to the late George D. Gulash.
Surviving are three children: Father George M. of Windber, Patricia A. Banks and fiance, Ray Lee, of Portage and David J. of Windber; two grandchildren: Tyler and Logan Gulash; a former daughter-in-law, Kristi Titus and husband, Chris, of Windber and their son, Ian Titus; and a brother, William E. Hill and wife, Mary Jane (Greathouse), of Windber.
Peggy was a former employee of Windber Hospital and later the former Anderson's News, Windber, for 25 years, where she was a well-known employee. She was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Windber, and she loved to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins and to crochet.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where a vigil service will be held at 5 p.m. today.
A funeral Mass will be concelebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Windber, Father George Gulash, Peggy's son, as principal celebrant. Committal will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Windber Hospice in Peggy's memory.
