Charles P. Fink, 86, of Northampton died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at home.
He was born in Altoona (Lakemont), son of the late Denver and Mary (Rice) Fink. He was the husband of Norma (Corbin) Fink for the past 59 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons: Richard, Denver and companion, Rosalie, of Cementon (Whitehall Twp.) and Edward and companion, Barbara, of Jim Thorpe; grandsons: Lieutenant Michael Fink and Cadet Frank Fink; and granddaughters: Autumn Fink and Kerri Fink.
He was a truck driver for 42 years before retiring in 1989. He drove for the former P.I.E. in Bath, Pa., and the former Eastern Express.
He served his country in the Navy in the Pacific during WWII.
He was an avid camper, and he also enjoyed fishing, canoeing and cross-country skiing. He was a devoted grandfather.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pa., is in charge of arrangements.
