Robert D. Bush Sr., 85, a resident at The Village at Morrisons Cove, formerly of Sproul, went home to be with the Lord on Friday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Sproul, son of the late Frank E. and Marjorie L. (Dellinger) Bush. He married Patricia (Eagler) Musselman on Aug. 27, 1983. She passed away Nov. 3, 2009.
Surviving are two sons: Robert Dean Jr. and wife, Linda, of Claysburg and Rex of Altoona; four stepsons: Kenneth Clark and wife, Kathy, of West Union, Ohio, Rick Clark and wife, Cindy, of Ebensburg, Kevin Musselman and wife, Brenda, of Mansfield and Ronald Musselman and wife, Cathy, of Waddell, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren and another one to be born soon.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Orville; and a sister, Dorothy.
Bob was a 1949 graduate of Claysburg High School. He retired from Zeigler Chevrolet, Claysburg, and had been employed previously at Bill Book Chevrolet, Altoona.
Bob was a member of Greenfield United Church of Christ. He enjoyed playing country music throughout the area.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at Greenfield United Church of Christ with Pastors Robert Penner and Rick Clark officiating. Interment will be at Greenfield Cemetery.
