TYRONE - Tyrone's Brandon Gripp scored 39 points - and moved past Tyler Mertiff into second place on the school's career scoring list with 1,391 - in a 74-47 romp over Clearfield in boys high school basketball action Thursday night.

Tyrone senior Jordan Miller scored 12 points.
