Forrest T. "Woodie" Kaylor, 52, Ephrata, Pa., passed away after an extended illness on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014.
He was born in Altoona (Juniata), son of Carole A. Kaylor and the late J. Thomas Kaylor.
Woodie will be lovingly missed by his mother, Carole; two brothers: Paul L. Kaylor, husband of Arlene of Lancaster, Pa. and David A. Kaylor, husband of Sonia of Petersburg, Va.; two nephews: Caleb Kaylor and Nathan Kaylor, husband of Melissa; two nieces: Kristin and Lauren Kaylor; and three great-nephews: Joseph, Andrew, and Benjamin Kaylor.
Woodie was a born again Christian and worked at C&D Batteries in Leola, Pa. as a shipper/receiver for 16 years.
He was a muscle car enthusiast and NASCAR fan and collector. He was a fan of Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers and loved horses.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at Paul L. Gravenor Home for Funerals, 100 W. Main St., Ephrata, Pa., with funeral services following at 8 p.m., the Rev. Wil Canfijn officiating. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Union Township, Unionville, Pa.
