Ann Marie Civiello, 76, Altoona, died late Tuesday evening at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph Paul and Mary Margaret (Wolfe) Civiello.
Surviving are cousins: Mary Jo Stacey and husband, Steve, of Juniata, Anthony Pellegrino and wife, Kristine, of Altoona and Lori Bollinger and husband, Mark, who reside in the home; numerous other cousins; a very good friend from school, Emma Helen Brolley; and Ann's dog, Joshua.
She was preceded in death by an uncle, Gerard Wolfe, and an aunt, Jane Wolfe, who had resided in the home; and a cousin, John Wolfe Sr.
Ann was a 1955 graduate of Altoona Catholic High School and a 1960 graduate of Altoona School of Commerce. She retired as a bookkeeper from Angelo Pacifico & Sons Bakery on Oct. 27, 2009, after 24 years of service. She previously had been employed by Maierhofer Bakery for three years and prior to that at the A&P Bakery for two years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona.
At Ann's request, there will be no public viewing. All family and friends are invited to attend a public funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. Committal rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
