Suzanne (Boden) Hall, 82, passed away Wednesday at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg.
She was born in Ickesburg, daughter of James G. and Naomi (Utley) Boden.
Surviving are two sons: Dr. J. Philip Hall and wife, Paula, of Altoona and Dr. John B. Hall and wife, Beverly, of Carmen, Idaho; and six grandchildren: Angela Ross (Patrick), Rachel Lauver (Chad), Patricia Hall, Jaclyn Hall, Wyatt Hall (Jeena) and Matthew Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Tyson Hall, in 2008; a brother, Charles Boden; and two sisters: Viola Grove and Jeanne Shiffer.
Suzanne was a 1948 graduate of the former Ickesburg High School and a 1952 graduate of Shippensburg State Teachers College. She retired as an elementary school teacher. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She will be sadly missed by her friends and the staff of the Presbyterian Village.
Friends will be received from 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at David M. Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery, New Bloomfield.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Suzanne are requested to the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg, 220 Newry St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
